Africa

Just watched the Panorama prog on maternal deaths in Chad. Left me feeling angry and heartbroken. I hope G8 does make an impact this summer, but I increasingly feel that actuaaly if every individual understood and cared that bit more and adjusted their lifestyle (spending choices etc) accordingly, we could collectively do much more for our brothers and sisters in Africa than could the G8 leaders.
